Thanks to a generous outpouring of charitable giving by Jefferson County, over $365,000 was raised through the United Good Neighbor's Give Jefferson campaign.

Funds ensure that crisis programs and safety-net services are readily available for our community’s youth, families, essential workers, senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.

With your support, 28 frontline organizations were awarded 100% of their funding request－up to $10,000 each to increase their capacity to provide aid.

Education

Donations mobilize Connected Students Initiative, Skillmation, Kaleidoscope Play & Learn, and Clemente to support youth and families transitioning to online learning, whether K-12 or college-bound, so that no student fails in the virtual classroom.

Food
As continued unemployment and underemployment threaten food security, Food Bank Farm & Gardens, Farmers Market Association, Association of Food Banks, Community Wellness Project and Weekend Nutrition Program are using your donations to ensure that no man, woman, or child goes hungry.

Healthcare
Quality, compassionate healthcare is available to patients no matter their income at JC MASH thanks to donors like yourself, and ECHHO stands at the ready to offer free services to patients on the road to recovery.

Housing
“Stay Home & Stay Safe” is easier said than done for those struggling with a lack of local, affordable housing. Your donations ensure that Bayside Housing & Services, Community Boat Project, and Habitat for Humanity can continue to provide safe, transitional and affordable, permanent housing.

Shelter
As the cold winter months continue, COAST Shelter and JIAC's Warming Shelter ensure that transient and homeless adults have a safe, reliable space to engage resources and to feel seen and supported. Donations give 100+ adults a place to come in out of the cold.
